Island Edge fashion contest

Pomare and Island Edge are sponsoring a fashion design contest with some impressive prizes. Not only is there a cash prize of $2,000, plus $500 to the winner’s charity of choice – the best prize of all is that the winner’s garment will be produced and sold at Island Edge.

Now isn’t THAT worth a try? If you’ve been wanting to forge ahead with a fashion career but haven’t known where to start, here’s an ideal opportunity.

Island Edge has already proven that they support local designers. They carry Sierra Dew, Jodi Salmonson, Roberta Oaks, Amos Kotomori and others.

For more information and an application, go to info@islandedgehawaii.com.

Hey, you’ve got nothing to lose! Just remember that this contest is not for an avant-garde or couture garment; it has to be something that can actually be manufactured and sold in the Ala Moana store. Also, they are not looking for swimwear or accessories, just clothing.
